From the Sullivan County Democrat "DOWN THE DECADES 1829 - Anna Catharine, relict of George Pfeifle, a well-known and highly repected lady of Jeffersonville, died November 29 at the age of 64. She was born at Schrecksbach in Kur Hessen, Germany in 1825. In 1855 they moved to Jeffersonville
