This is the DAR dedication information on the back of Edward Robinson's marker in Sherwood Cemetery, Scipio, Cayuga County New York. The marker is an exact replica of the orginal and was replaced during a DAR dedictaion ceremoney October 1, 1005. The information on the back reads:
Revolutionary War Soldier Edward Robinson, PVT - 7th MA RGT - Marker Placed by Owasco Chapter NSDAR 2005
Edward Robinson and Eunice Rix were parents of 12 children. Son, Rix Robinson, a fur trader and one of the 1st white men to settle Western Michigan returned here in 1835 and moved most of his siblings and their families to Western Michigan where they became prominent in the development of the state.
