BARKER, AYERS G. - Age, 29 years. Enrolled at Kingston, to serve 3 years, and mustered in as first lieutenant, Co. K, 08/22/1862; as captain, 03/17/1863; killed in action, 07/02/1863, at Gettysburgh, Pa.; prior service, 20th Militia.
Commissioned first lieut., 09/10/1862, with rank from 08/22/1862, original; captain, 05/13/1863, with rank from 03/17/1863, vice J.M. Pierson resigned.
