A precious one from us has gone.
A voice we loved is stilled;
A place is vacant in our home
Which can never be filled.
Christopher Stukey died Sunday at his home in Watson, aged about 48 years. He was sick only a few days. Mr. Stukey was a veteran of the late war a member of Guilford D. Bailey post, G. A. R. of Lowville. He was postmaster Beaches’ bridge, Watson, where he conducted a general store.
