BLADE, WILLIAM M. - Age, 21 years. Enlisted 08/06/1862, at Berne; mustered in as private, Co. D (originally 113th Infantry), 08/11/1862, to serve 3 years; promoted corporal, 08/18/1862; sergeant to date, 03/01/1863; reduced to the ranks, 08/06/1863; captured, 06/16/1864, at Petersburg, Va.; paroled, 02/26/1865, at North East Ferry, N.C.; mustered out with detachment, 05/23/1865, at Jarvis U.S. General Hospital, Baltimore, Md.
