*91st N.Y.V. Infantry Roster - Civil War:
LOEPER, C.0. HERMAN - Age, 19 years. Enrolled at Albany,
to serve 3 years, and mustered in as private, Co. B, October
1, 1861; transferred to Co. F and promoted sergeant, October
10, 1861; wounded in action, May 27, 1863, before Port
Hudson, LA; re-enlisted as a veteran, January 1, 1861; mustered
in as 2nd lieutenant, Co. B, January 26, 1865; mustered
out with company, July 3, 1865, near Washington, D.C.
Commissioned 2nd lieutenant, January 31, 1865, with
rank from January 7, 1865, vice Harvey Danforth promoted.
