Denise VanBuren, the New York State Regent and her cabinet, were in attendance at the dedication of this marker, together with local members of the NSDAR. Descendants of Lot Bolster were also present: Sally (Bolster) Holcombe, Gail (Bolster) Hennagin, Gail's daughter Julie, and a host of others.
