CARROLL, MARTIN L. — Age, 34 years. Enlisted, August 22,
1862, at Albany, to serve 3 years; mustered in as Corporal,
Co. F , September 14, 1862; captured in action, May 4, 1863;
paroled, May 15, 1863, at Belle Island, VA; promoted Sergeant,
December 1, 1863; transferred to Co. C, Battalion, September
22, 1864; returned to the ranks, no date; mustered out, June
16, 1865, at Washington, D.C.
